With temperatures hovering around the 60 degree mark and sunny skies, Saturday afternoon's Spring Op

In what looks to be a competitive field of Super Late Models, and the Midwest Dash Series visiting the half-mile paved oval, fans will surely be treated to some of the best edge of their seats exciting racing action. Along with these two exciting divisions competing, Bandits, 6-Shooters, 2-Man Cruisers, and the Skidders, will all be competing come Saturday afternoon!


Coming back Saturday and looking to add another feature win to his resume, is the 2020 SLM MMS track champion, John Beale. Beale is looking to continue his hot streak at Marshfield, and visit the McDonald's Drive Thru Victory Lane. It won't be easy for Beale however, as he will have stiff competition as the 2019 track champion, Darren Jackson will be competing as well. Another driver that has racked up many track championships at our neighboring track, Golden Sands Speedway, is Mark Eswein. Eswein, who is fast wherever he competes, hales from Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Frank Nitzke, multiple feature winner at many tracks, is excited to compete at Marshfield for the 2021 season. "The affordable 'Buy In' program that Marshfield is offering, is exactly what car owners and drivers have been thirsting for, stated Nitzke."

Another driver with a very impressive resume that plans on touring the half-mile paved oval Saturday afternoon, is Wausau hotshoe, Mark Mackesy. Mackesy, whom of which captured the 2020 Fall Shootout title, would like to start the 2021 season where he left off in 2020, with a win!

Capturing his first career feature win at State Park Speedway last season, Dillon Mackesy should be a contender for the win as well. In last Saturday's practice session, Mackesy proved to have a very fast #93 car. A couple Eastern Wisconsin drivers looking to have a great run Saturday afternoon, are Mike Reichenberger and Jason Wells. Making the trek to Marshfield from his home in Northern Illinois, Curt Tilman. Tilman was also very fast in a practice session this past week. Some rookie drivers that are eager to have a good year at Marshfield are, AJ Kreager, Jerad deBoer, and Greg Blount. At last year's Fall Shootout, deBoer and Bount battled nose-to-tail for the feature win, in the X-Treme 4's. Kreager, under the tutelage of crew chief Tucker Miller, will undoubtedly visit victory lane in 2021. Wisconsin Dells driver Brian Hakala, makes his return to MMS, and has a great chance of grabbing the checkered flag. Gentleman driver Dakota Blakeslee, whom of which made his first visit to victory lane in 2020, also plans on competing on Saturday. Making his debut at Marshfield in 2020, Todd Rueden from Green Bay, is also looking to have a great run in the opener. Harley Jankowski, a familiar driver at Marshfield, should have a great run. Jankowski is excited to do some traveling in 2021. He's excited to hit the Milwaukee Mile, and is hoping to have better luck in the Slinger Nationals.


Marshfield Motor Speedway is very excited to kick off the 2021 touring season for the Midwest Dash Series. This division of racing will have fans excited, as you won't find better side-by-side - nose-to-nose racing! The Midwest Dash Series will also visit MMS on June 12th for the TUNDRA Bev Aschenbrenner Memorial.


Fan gates open at 1pm, qualifying is at 2pm, with opening ceremonies slated for 3pm. Admission is just $12 for adults 15 and older, students 9-14 for $8, and kids 8 and under are FREE!

Grab the kids, neighbor, or even the dog, but most importantly, ask MOM or GRAND MOM, to come out and enjoy a great afternoon of fun, on Mother's Day weekend!
