Saturday's Wisconsin Challenge Series/ALL-STAR Triple Crown Super Late Model 75-lap feature event, should prove to be very exciting for the attending race fans. Not only will the fans be treated to this exciting field of cars, they will be treated to a great field of trucks as well. Yes, the Midwest Truck Series is also on Saturday's docket! Capping the evening off, fans will also witness great racing in the other three divisions competing come Saturday night, the X-Treme 4's, Bandits, and the 2-Man Cruisers.
Heading up a great group of drivers for the WCS/ALL-STAR Triple Crown Series, is point leader John Beale. Beale, who lives in Verona, WI, has had much luck on the half-mlle paved oval at MMS. Coming off an incredible performance at the Slinger Nationals, Wausau, WI driver Luke Fenhaus will be making is debut in a SLM at Marshfield. The most recent winner on the TUNDRA Super Late Model Series, Gabe Sommers will also be looking to put is race car in the McDonalds Drive Thru Victory Lane. Having the most success in recent years at the speedway, may be driver Colin Reffner. Reffner will be racing his familiar #87 machine. Gleason, WI driver Justin Mondeik will also be on hand to compete on Saturday. Mondeik has been fast wherever he competes, and has visited victory lane on several occasions on the half-mile paved oval. Another driver who will have a great chance to take home the checkered flag on Saturday, is Travis Sauter. Other top drivers competing this Saturday will be Darren Jackson, Neil Knoblock, MG Gajewski, and Jordan Thiel. Jason Wells, Greg Borchardt, and Curt Tillman will also be looking to have strong finishes come Saturday Night. Multi feature winner Mark Eswein may also be on hand to compete when this impressive field of cars takes the green flag. MMS has also received messages from several other drivers hoping to make the trip to Marshfield.
Marshfield is expecting a strong field of Midwest Truck Series drivers come Saturday for their special 40-lap feature event. Among those expected to compete are series point leader James Swan. Other top drivers looking to notch a feature win are John Ovadal, Jr., Jerry Brickner, Kevin Knuese, Mike Corvo, Dave Edwards, Chester Ace, Joe Valento, Milwaukee Mile winner, Levon VanDerGeest, Jerry Wood, Danielle Behn, Thayron Rezin, Ross Christiansen, Brad Gajewski, Jason Stark, and others.
Kevin Eckes will be looking to hold down his point lead in the X-Treme 4's. Minnesota driver Dave Auringer, and George Seliger are strong contenders to take home a feature win Saturday night. Leading a strong field of Bandit drivers are Kole Ferge, Chad Ferge, Tyler Custer, Christine Schmude, Ryan Brock, and Brad Lecher. Numerous team drivers in the 2-Man Cruiser division will be looking to knock off point leaders Shane Sikorski & Zach Mykisen.
DRIVERS & FANS - County Highway H that runs in front of the speedway will be closed for repairs. There are several ways to get to the speedway, but the easiest may be Highway 10 to County BB North, then straight to the speedway.
Pit gates open at 3pm, Fan gates open at 5:30, with qualifying at 6pm, and racing at 7pm. Should be a great night of racing action so grab a friend and come on out to Marshfield Motor Speedway!
